This notice applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). It sits on top of our Privacy Policy.
Categories of information we collect
- Identifiers: name, email address, IP address.
- Commercial information: records of what you bought.
- Internet activity: pages viewed, how you arrived, device and browser.
- Geolocation: approximate location, derived from your IP address. Not precise location.
We collect these to answer you, deliver services, take payment, keep the site secure, and understand which content is useful. Sources: you, and automatically from your device as you browse.
We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
We also do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as the CPRA defines that term. We do not run retargeting ads on this site.
We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of anyone under 16.
Your rights under CCPA and CPRA
- Right to know what we collect, use, and disclose about you.
- Right to delete the personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right stands.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as the CPRA defines it.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not give you a worse price or service for exercising any of these rights. That is not just the law, it is the obvious way to behave.
How to exercise them
Email privacy@wpconsults.com with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line, or use our request form.
We will verify your identity, usually by confirming the email address we already hold, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, with written proof of authority.
