Being honest about scale: WpConsults does not currently have employees. Work is done by the founder, Abdullah Nouman, alongside a small number of trusted freelance contractors and collaborators.
So this page describes how we treat them, rather than pretending to an HR department we do not have.
How we work with contractors
- We agree scope and rate in writing before work starts. No surprises in either direction.
- We pay on time. Late payment to a freelancer is not a cash flow tactic, it is someone’s rent.
- We do not undercut people. We pay a fair rate for skilled work rather than racing to the bottom on a bidding platform.
- We give credit. Contributors are credited where they contributed.
- We are honest about the pipeline. We do not string people along with promises of work that may not exist.
Conduct
Harassment, bullying, intimidation, and abusive behavior have no place in how we work, whether it is directed at a contractor, at a client, or by a client at us. We will end a working relationship over it, including a paying one.
We hire and work with people on the basis of skill and reliability.
Confidentiality
Anyone working on a client project is bound by confidentiality before they get access to anything. Client data is not shared, discussed, or reused outside that project.
Raising a concern
Any contractor or collaborator can raise a concern directly with Abdullah Nouman at growth@wpconsults.com. It will be taken seriously, and it will not affect whether they get work from us again.
