What a commission does not buy
A commission has never changed what we recommend, and it never will. We recommend tools we actually use on client work. When a tool we earn from is the wrong choice for you, we say so, and when a free tool beats a paid one we say that too.
If we ever recommended something purely because it paid better, the entire value of this blog would be gone. That is a bad trade for a few dollars of commission.
Sponsored content
We do not currently publish paid guest posts or sponsored articles. If that ever changes, any sponsored piece will be clearly labeled as sponsored at the top, not hidden in a footnote.
Our own products
We sell our own services, digital products, and tools, and we link to them. That is not hidden: it is our site and our business. We also publish free tools and free guides, and we would rather you got value from those than bought something you do not need.
Reviews
Where we review a tool, we say whether we paid for it, got it free, or were given access. Our verdict is our verdict either way.
